If you read our story earlier this week, or are on social media, online, or on TV at all you heard CA is the first state to sell only rescue pets from pet stores. The law went into effect this week and already making a difference in the way pet stores are operating their business. Some jumping on board early using this as an opportunity to rescue pets from kill shelters train groom and certify that they will be a good K9 citizen! - Ya know I actually also read an article that England is banning the sale of puppies and kittens from pet stores as well, but taking it even a bit furr-her! You’ll still see your malitpoo, yorkie and morkies out there since in both CA and the UK you can buy from a private breeder.
